Hi everyone. I wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and remind you there isn't Half-Time this week or next.
Also, we are going to the 9:30 service in the Sanctuary this Sunday.
We will be back strong in January on the 3rd.
Recycling
Hey Gang,
We place a high value on leadership at MI. I love watching students "get it" and then start to act on their faith. Leadership looks like a lot of things. One way is to see a need and then to find a solution instead of complaining.
A couple of our freshman girls realized that there is a ton of soda being consumed on Sunday mornings and nowhere to recycle the cans. So they made recycle bins and placed them around campus. When they fill, the take them home.
You guys are awesome.
Christmas Tree Lot Saturday
Hey Gang,
Just a quick reminder that we are staffing the Christmas Tree Lot at church on Saturday December 5th from 10 am - 8:30 pm. If you signed up for a shift, please come a few minutes early so you can have your job explained and passed on to you at the start of your shift. If you haven't signed up you can still come for a couple hours to help out. If you are causing trouble, the adult staff will ask you to leave. Don't be surprised. Come to help, not just hang out.
