The Great Pumpkin Chase
Are you ready for the world's greatest cross-Brandon scavenger hunt?
Have you started creating your team... the smartest people you know.... a cunning and safe driver.... a gps unit... mobile satellite communications... support team... search dogs...
Ok, thats a bit extreme... or is it?
Sunday October 18th we will be hitting the streets for the Great Pumpkin Chase of 2009. (YES, THE DATE CHANGED) From 5 - 8 p.m. students and leaders will be cracking clues, solving codes, riddling riddles and using all the powers of intellect at their disposal in order to capture the fleeting moment of glory when they raise the cup of victory.
Wow, that seems a bit intense. It's actually a lot of fun and the competition between teams is just the start of it all.
We are meeting in the Chapel at 5 p.m. If you have a new member of your team, they will need a copy of the permission form. You can download it here.
Here's the flyer to hand out to friends you are recruiting for your team!
Is your team shaping up?
Are you ready to roll for the Rabbit Race?
You need a team including one adult driver (over 21) and your smartest friends to help crack the code and track down the rabbit for ultimate victory!
Every year teams of students and adult drivers take to the streets of Brandon to crack the code and capture the rabbit for glory and bragging rights. Well, it is getting ready to happen again...
April 26th from 5 - 8 p.m. our annual Easter Rabbit Race is on like Donkey Kong... (That reference was for you Pastor Matt)
You job is to get your team organized... find a brave driver with nerves of steel, great directional knowledge and a taste for VICTORY! and then fill their car with your smartest friends who will help you solve the puzzle and track down all the clues.
Register by Emailing your team list to office@mistudentministry.com and putting RACE in the title. You can also write a team list and turn it in at 929. Deadline for registration is April 19th.
All students MUST have a Parental Permission Form on file to participate. If you bring a friend, have them get it signed and notarized BEFORE the race to save time that night.
